Startup List Canada was born out of excitement for startups and for entrepreneurship. We want to create a space where people can learn about new and exciting, early-stage Canadian startups, before they’re discovered mainstream media attention.
We recognize that many founders and entrepreneurs face structural barriers and systemic discrimination that limits their opportunities. As such, we’re making it our mission to bring attention to entrepreneurs from underrepresented communities, including disabled, 2SLGBTQ+, Indigenous, Black and other racialized entrepreneurs, and to values-driven startups.
